Curriculum review
Every programme, every two years.
CQAD coordinates a structured curriculum review with the Pro-Vice-Chancellor and the Deans.
- Biennial reviews of all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with accelerated reviews triggered by GTEC directives or performance concerns
- A Curriculum Review Committee in each school, chaired by the Dean and supported by a CQAD representative
- Standardised curriculum review templates for consistency
- Graduate programmes reviewed for research methodology standards, supervisory ratios and thesis completion rates
- Industry advisory panels for the professional schools, so programmes stay relevant
Teaching excellence
Monitoring and recognising great teaching.
- Annual peer observation of teaching, coordinated with School Deans
- Student evaluation of teaching every semester for all credit-bearing courses
- Student performance data analysed by course, programme and campus
- The CQAD-endorsed Annual Teaching Excellence Award
